dieFirma is an artist-run platform anchored in New York’s Cooper Square. Through exhibitions and happenings staged in NYC and beyond, we facilitate encounters between artists, art lovers, and those that don’t know they’re art lovers (or artists) yet.

dieFirma invites established and emerging artists to lead and attend events, classes, workshops, and performances. With investigations into art and ideas, we build connections and foster new ways of seeing and creating.

Every project at dieFirma is born out of conversations. In addition to offering physical space and market infrastructure, dieFirma collaborates with artists to enable them to take risks and explore new directions.

Through limited editions at affordable prices as well as by placing large-scale works in private collections and institutions that value them, we encourage connections between artists and art lovers.

dieFirma’s Print Room is a collaboration with bookdummypress (bdp) situated in our New York project space. The Print Room works with publishers, designers, authors, makers, printers, editors, and others in the field of independent art books to present topical exhibitions and events. We are dedicated to the art of the book and to publishing as an artistic—and collective—practice.
