dieFirma invites you to participate in a drawing workshop led by artist Rosie Lopeman.

Held in the gallery the day after the official closing of Nadia Gould’s exhibit, the workshop is a chance to work meditatively in a small group, and to mine our subjective responses to her paintings through the act of drawing.

Space limited to 10 participants

Participants should anticipate bringing their preferred drawing supplies and paper. Specific material suggestions will follow once registered.

NOTAFLOF

Rosie Lopeman (b. 1989) is a working artist. She has a Certificate in Painting from the New York Studio School (2016) and a B.A. in painting from Bard College (2011). She is the recipient of the Hohenberg Award and the Christina R. Tarsell Award. Lopeman has participated in numerous group shows including at Perimeter Gallery, Raynham Hall Museum, and Gallery One Twenty Eight. Solo exhibitions include John Davis Gallery, GRIDSPACE, and The Container. Lopeman's work as an educator is an inextricable part of her creative process. She currently teaches painting and drawing at the New York Studio School, Saint Ann’s School, and privately.
